How to deal with stress
This is a
very tough situation to deal with as the factors and the cause of stress can be
many. Most people on the planet suffer from stress, I know for a fact that I do.
But what really causes it, I have no idea, I don’t even know sometimes if it is
really mine or I caught it from someone else and I just took it all in like a
sponge.
There are a
lot of causes of stress, to sum up, some
of them, it might be work, studying, family issues, relationship issues, inability
to achieve something that you really want and have been working on and
everything really around you has the potential to create stress.
The
implication of stress is vast, from mental health problems, physical health
problems, overeating, and anger to name a few. I know from myself is
when I am stressed out I get stomach pain and feel very uncomfortable but to be
honest I can’t figure out what causes it.
How to deal
with it, well for me usually it starts with acknowledging that I am stressed as
I see it as the first step to dealing with it. I don’t spend much time trying
to identify what caused it as it will only be possibilities rather I jump to
dealing with it straight away.
After acknowledgment,
I do one of the following for example breathing exercises, meditation, workout,
go for a walk, write something or just talk to someone. These might not necessarily
work for you but you can give them a try as every person is unique. You can try
to find the source of stress as you go, but I am yet to figure out where to
start from. Indulging in activities such
as stress eating might cause even more stress
as it might lead to unwanted weight gain.
Whatever it
is, keep in mind that there is always a solution and you have gone through
every stressful situation in your life successfully.
