Top 10 things to do now that the world cup is over

It has been a very exciting month filled with drama, ups and downs and a lot of emotions. But the world cup has officially signed off and will be back after four years unless you are looking forward to the Euros in two years’ time or even the national leagues.

So if you are a big football fan, you might be filling a little bit bored with nothing to do in life, kind of disorientated and have lost your life’s purpose as there is no more football for at least three weeks or so. Cheer up people, well we might not have the best solutions or options for you but might as well try to help with a few suggestions to fill up your next few weeks.

1. Join a gym, well it is never not a good time to take care of your body and lose those few extra based that was caused by the world cup munchies.

2. Catch up on reading, why not get yourself a new book that will help you grow as a person, something about finance, investment or how to take care of your mental health or anything that you have set your eyes on and never got the chance to read it.

3. Learn a language or take a short course. While this might take some time to learn and can be done online even some websites offer it for free if you are willing to search and find one.

4. Watch a new series or some movies, while some people might consider it as wasting time, well they can be very beneficial and you can learn a lot from series and documentaries.

5. Job searching and retouching your CV. Why not having a look at mobileresume.org and create a digital resume, you never know it might come in handy and you might land your next big job.

6. Learn how to cook, well this is probably the biggest favor you can do for yourself is to learn how to feed yourself, we all do enjoy eating out and that there are a lot of healthy options out there, but it is a great skill to impress your family or loved ones.

7. Investment, it is always great to create a new stream of income for yourself, you can spend those extra hours every day on how to do it, taking little steps and you never know it might even replace your fulltime job.

8. Take a vacation, if you have the time and cash to spend. Why not, go for it, it is always great to have an adventure.

9. Family time, while most of us are busy working or doing what we have to do, why not make room for some family time or get in touch with some old friends that you haven’t see in a while.

10. Well if you are fed up with all these lists and people trying to tell you what to do, how about just master the art of ordering food and do absolutely nothing. Ordering food is a modern day art not many have mastered and hasn’t received much recognition.

Whatever you decide on doing, we wish you luck and happiness . . .
