If you are still thinking of going to the gym though it has been on your to-do list from the beginning of the year, you are only half a year late nothing special, still plenty of time to bounce back and get on the treadmill. 

Though it is best to get in the habit of eating healthy every now and then, get your workout as it will help improve your mood and productivity at work or even keep you motivated on your job search using mobileresume.org.  

One of the gym essentials is a decent song playlist, something to fire you up and keep you motivated during your sessions, a playlist that you will be looking forward to listening to every time you hit the gym. 

Just to give you a heads-up, we only like rock music. So here is my top 5 artist for a gym playlist:



  1. Slipknot: one of the essentials on my playlist, my most go to, keeps you fired up all the time.
  2. Disturbed: a little bit lighter than slipknot but it hits the spot.
  3. Trivium: one of my personal favorites, their lyrics are just out of this world.
  4. Metallica: some old school songs in the mix, is always a good choice.
  5. Stone Sour: it just seems like whatever Corey Taylor touches turns into gold, some quality songs that they have there and surely should make their way to your playlist. 


However, if you are more of a hip-hop fan or more of whatever is on the radio fan, no shame in that as we can understand now why you have never joined a gym before, just kidding. Just make sure when you have a playlist in place that you have a decent set of headphones, your gym gear and you are good to go.
